I'm looking for some green, leafy plants that can offer good background coverage but won't grow too tall (I've only got a five gallon tank.) Anything you would recommend that's easy to care for and can thrive in lower light?

For a betta, I want to get a Mini Bow 5 Desktop Aquarium, it has a filter already and a hood with a light. I was going to get an Aquarium Systems Visi-Therm 25 watt Heater, and a Tetra Whisper 10 Air Pump. Is that alright?

I'm going to put a couple fake silk plants, pebbles, and get Hikari Betta Bio-Gold for food. Is Hikari Betta Ultimate Water Conditioner good? I was going to get that too, and I'm also going to get a net, thermometer, and background, and one of those Betta Leaf Hammocks if I can find one.

When I have more money I'll get some ornaments, I want to make it a Greek theme, but I think the plants will be fine for hiding in for now. Do I need something for testing the water? Which is best? And last thing I'll get is, of course, a betta. Does this all sound like it will work out?
I don't know what kind of filter the tank comes with, but if it's no good I'm going to get a Microclean 304 Internal Mini Filter. Can you believe everything listed here (except this filter) is going to cost over $100? I still need to buy a couple ornaments, too.

sorry, i realise that people don't want to look through masses of links (i wouldn't) so basically, its a 30l tank, 50w heater, API water master test kit, juwel gravel cleaner, Prime by Seachem water dechlorinator and a 3 inch net. Sorry to those first 4 answers!

How much money should I plan to spend on a 10 gallon aquarium for my nephew who is almost 13? I used to have tanks but it's been a few years. Not interested in any kits from walmart or petco or such as I want quality equipment so I'll be buying each item. This is my list so far and haven't been in a better fish only shop in a few years. Hello, I would like to know if I got a good deal on my 125 gallon aquarium setup.(everything is brand new.) I will list everything below! I would also like opinions on how much everyone else paid for there tank setup!

I am going to pay almost $900.00 for all of these items. Is this a good deal? I live in Kentucky, and I have called many many different pet stores, and he is by far the cheapest!
